People with Disabilities, 2011 - 2015

Human rights funding for people with diverse disabilities protects and promotes their full and equal enjoyment of rights as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This funding supports work to eliminate the barriers that inhibit their full and effective inclusion in society and address abuses ranging from discrimination to violence. It funds initiatives to ensure accessibility, civic engagement, full legal capacity, and living in the community.
